All resident students are required to be on a meal plan. Meal plans may be purchased in Corson Hall at Student Financial Services or by calling (610) 409-3600 with cash, check or credit card. Visit Dining Plans for more information. 

Commuters may purchase Bear Bucks, which is applied to the Ursinus Student ID card and works similar to a debit card.

Each meal plan includes a designated amount of Dining Dollars that may be used at all of our dining locations. Dining Dollars expire at the end of each semester.

Bear Bucks are voluntary funds that can be deposited on your student ID card and entitles you to a 10% discount for each purchase at our dining locations, as well as the college bookstore and network printing. Commuter students, resident students, faculty, and staff members may purchase Bear Bucks. Bear Bucks may be added through the Business Office located in Corson Hall. Stop by the office or call (610) 409-3698 to add funds by cash, check or credit card. Or you may do so online.

Campus Dining Services is able to assist with most special dietary needs.  We encourage you to reach out if you have a food allergy/special diet concern. Please call the Dining Office at (610) 409-3602 or send us an email,diningservices@ursinus.edu. Our Registered Dietitian, Susan Hurd is also available for assistance,susan.hurd@sodexo.com. 

However, if you require a meal plan modification due to a medical need, such as food allergies, Celiac disease, etc. please contact Shammah Bermudez, Director of Disabilities Services,sbermdez@ursinus.edu, in the Institute for Student Success, located on the lower level of Wismer Center.

There are vegetarian and vegan options available on a daily basis in the Wismer Dining HallZack's Food Court and the Smart Market C-Store. The Wismer Dining Hall has a station specifically for these recipes.

To ensure menu variety, a food management system is used to plan our daily offerings in the Wismer Dining Hall. We also offer specials to coincide with the seasons and holidays. Zack's Food Court offers an a la carte menu for each concept with a variety of menu offerings and seasonal specials.

If you are sick and unable to go to a dining facility, you can authorize a friend to use your ID and pick up a meal for you. Print the Sick Tray Authorization Formcomplete, sign and give to your friend along with your Ursinus ID. The transaction is for one Meal, a new form is needed for each meal request.

Include items from the Wismer Dining Hall daily menu.  Our culinary team will will make every effort to accommodate your request.  Today's menu can be located on our website or on the Bite app.

Flu Meals
Students with the flu are encouraged to stay hydrated and eat smaller meals.  We currently offer two Flu Meals.

Flu Meal 1
includes food for two lite meals - first 24-48 hours of flu like symptoms

  • 4 Saltine Cracker Packets
  • 1 Whole Fruit (apple, orange or banana)
  • 2 Jell-O cups
  • 3 Apple Juice
  • Ginger Ale

  • Disposable Utensils, Napkins, Bowls & Hot Cups
Flu Meal 2
includes food for two lite meals - for the 3rd - 4th day, after fever subsides
  • 2 Soup, cups
  • 1 Instant Oatmeal Packet
  • 4 Saltine Cracker Packets
  • 1 Mixed Fruit Cup
  • 2 Whole Fruit (apple, orange, or banana)
  • 1 Jell-O cups
  • 1 Chocolate Pudding Cup
  • 3 Apple Juice
  • Ginger Ale
  • Gator Aid
  • 3 Hot Teabags
  • 1 Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich
  • 1 Bagel with Jelly Packets
  • Disposable Utensils, Napkins, Bowls & Hot Cups

Students picking up a Traditional Sick Tray or Flu Meal may come directly to the Wismer Dining Hall or call the Dining office at (610) 409-3602 to schedule a pickup.  When picking up a Traditional Sick Tray or Flu Meal, please bring the Ursinus ID of the sick student, along with the Ursinus ID of the student picking up the meal, for verification purposes.  Students requesting the Traditional Sick Tray or Flu Meals will be charged one meal swipe or the appropriate Dining Dollars/Bear Bucks rate per meal.
